Deployment Details (Projects/ Pilots/ Field Trials)
Astrome has showcased the successful integration of routers and access point products with Gigamesh?s Multiple-Point to Point backhaul solution. Astrome offers a quickly deployable, high bandwidth integrated Backhaul solution.This solution in its different forms can be used for Enterprise LAN network, Service Provider to Enterprise connection and Tower to Tower backhaul connectivity.For the demo, three Gigamesh devices have been deployed at the IISc campus in Bangalore.ASR901 series routers are connected to the GigaMesh through SFP cables. The access device is connected to the router.We showcased a throughput of 1Gbps over two links simultaneously,allowing us to successfully demonstrate a live HD video stream over an E-band link. Users were successfully able to access the internet on phone and laptop connecting to access point and using E-band backhaul.In a matter of seconds a 100MB file could be downloaded/uploaded simultaneously to the two devices from the central node demonstrating the reliability of multi-beam setup. Another great feature of the Automatic link Alignment is that the deployment time is very less. No manual intervention is required. The device automatically aligns itself with the other devices in it?s field of view.We have been able to demonstrate a campus connectivity solution .With this demo, we have been able to beam internet from one part of the IISc campus to the other part, delivering internet to the users.Patents and IP disclosures
